October 21, 2019 - Advisory Council Meeting
This meeting was held on Monday, October 21, 2019, in Washington, DC. The Advisory Council welcomed six new members, and discussed ways to increase access to long-term services and supports that support people with dementia and their caregivers in their homes and the community including innovative state programs. July 29, 2019 - Advisory Council Meeting
This meeting was held on Monday, July 29, 2019, in Washington, DC. The Advisory Council spent most of meeting considering recommendations made by each of the three subcommittees to present to the Secretary of HHS and Congress. Additional presentations included updates on the latest biomedical research findings, an overview of the Healthy Brain Initiative: The Road Map for Indian Country, and a discussion of the progress made since 2011 through the National Plan to Address Alzheimer's Disease.
