This Research Brief summarizes recent research on older adults' LTSS risks and financial resources that the Urban Institute completed for ASPE. Except where noted, the studies used data from the Health and Retirement Study, a large, nationally representative survey that has been tracking older Americans since 1992.

Despite broad agreement that the child support program has performed well since the passage of the Child Support Performance and Incentive Act (CSPIA) in 1998, questions remain over whether the current measures will continue to drive better performance on outcomes that reflect the child support program’s core mission.

This research brief highlights findings from the evaluation of ¡Cuídate!, an HIV/AIDS prevention program that uses an approach culturally tailored to Latino youth. The study examined data from three different replications of ¡Cuídate!, pooling the data to examine the overall program impact.

This study used a rigorous difference-in-differences approach to examine the effect of child care policy on women's labor force participation.

Differential response (DR) is an increasingly common model for how child protective services agencies address reports of child maltreatment. Differential response systems seek to be less adversarial than traditional child protective services by separating incoming referrals into two (or more) tracks.
