Data Linking Initiatives at the Intersection of Health and Human Services

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) supports innovative research at the intersection of health and human services through multiple data linking initiatives. Linked data is useful for a multitude of reasons including assisting with program integrity initiatives, identifying gaps in services, and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse. We encourage you to explore the data linking initiatives supported by ASPE.

Updates:
ASPE’s data linking work with child welfare and Medicaid data, “Improving Services for Children and Families through Linked Child Welfare and Medicaid Data” was recently presented at the White House Convening on Transforming Child Welfare.
