There are more than 60 million youth between the ages of 10 and 24 in the United States. ASPE takes a person-centered approach to support developmentally appropriate and equitable systems that fit the unique needs of adolescents and young adults. ASPE’s work promotes collaboration, coordination, and research that will best meet the needs of young people and youth-serving systems. Topics include positive youth development, disconnected or opportunity youth, teen pregnancy prevention, youth aging out of foster care, and characteristics of effective youth-serving programs and interventions.
