PTAC Issue Briefs

PTAC Issue Briefs

The PTAC Issue Briefs series is designed to summarize information and evidence relevant to value-based care that PTAC has explored.

As part of its review of physician-focused payment models (PFPMs) that have been submitted to PTAC, the Committee holds periodic theme-based discussion public meetings on pertinent issues and topics regarding effective payment model innovation in Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and PFPMs. The PTAC Issue Briefs series introduces and summarizes several of the topics covered in PTAC’s theme-based discussions.

As part of the Issue Briefs series, PTAC also occasionally produces a Highlights document that summarizes PTAC’s key recommendations and takeaways from across topics that the Committee has explored, including as part of previously published Issue Briefs.
