HIV/AIDS

The Office of Health Policy consistently works with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and HIV/AIDS stakeholders to develop nuanced understandings of issues effecting access to health care services for people living with HIV and AIDS. The office has lead several studies to assess the Ryan White Program in the context of health system changes. Specific focus areas include exploring the integration of federal HIV housing assistance programs, and examining the service needs, medical utilization, and health care expenditures of clients across demographic and geographic groups. The information gained from our work is used to inform federal program planning.
