The next meeting of the Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, Care, and Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 9:00am to 5:00pm EDT. The meeting will be held at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), 200 Independence Avenue, S.W., Room 800, Washington, D.C. 20201, and webcast live on www.hhs.gov/live. Please allow 30 minutes to go through security and walk to the meeting room.

The Advisory Council will hear presentations on the basics of long-term care, including presentations on programs, settings, and payers. The Council will use a portion of the meeting to review the work it has accomplished thus far towards the 2025 goals, and then discuss the process for developing recommendations for the 2015 update to the National Plan. The Council will also hear presentations from the three subcommittees (Research, Clinical Care, Long-Term Services and Supports, and Ethics).

Public Attendance:  Seating may be limited.
