This case study focuses on how a fatherhood program in rural Ohio—ForeverDads—reaches a subpopulation of fathers through partnerships with area substance use disorder treatment programs. Key lessons and considerations include how human services programs can promote father engagement by:
- Serving as a connector to other organizations that offer father-centered programming.
- Integrating programming for fathers into existing program structures.
This case study is one of several resources produced through ASPE’s Key Programmatic Elements of Father Engagement to Promote Self-Sufficiency (KEEP Fathers Engaged) project.
