Readers should be aware that the Final Cross-Cutting Report on the Findings from Ten State Site Visits and all state-specific site visit reports available here represent information from site visits conducted in 2000 through 2002.  Since the dates of the site visits described in these reports, states have amended their SCHIP programs numerous times by altering benefit packages, cost-sharing requirements, and substitution policies, among other programmatic elements.  Readers are encouraged to visit the CMS website at www.cms.hhs.gov, where current state plan materials can be viewed.
