Information Needs Associated with the Changing Organization and Delivery of Health Care: Summary of Perceptions, Activities, Key Gaps, and Priorities. Acknowledgments

04/30/1997

This project was undertaken in close collaboration with staff from ASPE. Linda Sanches served as project officer. Lisa Rovin and Bob Clark also served on the project team, as did Ed Hunter of the National Center for Health Statistics. We are also indebted to all those who were contacted under this project. They included more than 50 individuals and groups in the private sector, states, and research community. We talked with them in Phase I to gain a general understanding of perceived information needs, gaps, and activities intended to address these gaps. We also greatly appreciate the willingness of the 11 groups we studied in more depth to respond to numerous phone calls and requests for information.

We are especially indebted to Daryl Hall, MPR’s editor, for her assistance with this project. Kathleen Donaldson and other secretarial staff at MPR were essential to the production of the report. Finally, we are grateful to Harold Beebout and Judith Wooldridge at MPR for the guidance and review they provided on drafts of the report.
