The Importance of Quality Implementation for Research, Practice, and Policy. Conclusions


In sum, implementation is important for all child and youth programs, and increasing the quality of implementation increases the chances that the program will yield its intended outcomes. Many factors can affect quality of implementation, and there are multiple steps in the implementation process, so time and effort are essential to achieving quality program implementation. However, success is possible, and resources are available to help select and implement evidence-based programs effectively.
