This compendium is published by the Division of Disability, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, Office of Social Services Policy. It summarizes the results of the Division's research projects from 1986 through the present and highlights future plans. The role of research within the Division is to produce information on the organization, financing and delivery of services to chronically impaired populations to inform the Department's policy development process.
