A recent ASPE study, on the ACA Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment, found some interesting statistics, which are presented in the chart on the left. One of the more striking findings is that of how popular the silver group of plans is. Over half of the marketplace participants (65%) chose this particular group. People continue to find that this group offers the best value for money.
Another interesting discovery is that the vast majority of participants received the federal assistance that lessened their insurance premium burden. Only 15% of the buyers did not receive such assistance.
