Publication Date

This Issue Brief presents an estimate of the number of children who meet the eligibility requirements for child care assistance under the Child Care and Development Fund. The estimates are produced by the Transfer Income Model (TRIM) developed by the Urban Institute under contract to ASPE. The Brief also provides estimates of the number of children receiving HHS-funded child care subsidies in 2005, and the percentage served, or coverage rate. [8 PDF pages]
