This compendium is published by the Office of Disability, Aging and Long Term Care Policy within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation/HHS. It summarizes the status of current research, the results of research projects sponsored from 1992 1996, and highlights future research plans. Previous editions of this booklet were issued in 1988 and 1992. The Office's research products can now also be found through our Internet home page.
