Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
Including Programs Available to American Indian Tribes and Alaska Natives

The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs (CFDA) is a government-wide compendium of all 1,425 Federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to the American public. These programs provide grants, loans, loan guarantees, services, information, scholarships, training, insurance, etc., to millions of Americans every day. On the Web, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) maintains, and UPDATES two times a year--June and December, a current listing of the CFDA. The Catalog includes 308 programs of grants and benefits available through DHHS; many of which already explicitly designate American Indians and Alaska Natives as current or potential beneficiaries and eligible applicants for these funds.
